Abstract
Serious games have known an enormous outburst during the last decade. These games have the power to use the gamers' immersion in order to foster their motivation and engagement in educational and professional trainings. Unfortunately, the development of serious game scenarios remains an expensive, time consuming business that is exclusively dedicated to computer scientists. Our work aims to solve this problem by introducing a new process capable of building generic reusable and inter-operable scenarios. This process is based on MDA (Model Driven Architecture). Its starting point consists in enriching an e-learning standard to define a new meta-model (CIM). This meta-model will manage, assemble and index the scenario components. Starting from CIM model, we define a transformational mechanism to implement playful yet pedagogical scenarios and integrate them within two contexts. The first context focuses on the playful aspect (Unity 3d environment) whereas the second one is purely pedagogical (E-learning platform: claroline connect).
