Abstract
Mirror based passive moire target has been studied mathematically and numerically. Mathematical model of the passive moire target at CCD camera sensor plate has been developed mathematical considering its orientations. Based on the mathematical model, the moire patterns are simulated for the proposed passive target. The simulated resulted are compared to the moire pattern produced by the existing passive moire target. From the numerical results, it is found that the proposed passive moire target exhibits better sensing capacities.
