Abstract
Y-Source Inverter (YSI) is presented to overcome the limitations of another impedance family such as the low boosting and discontinuous mode. In this paper, an approach was introduced to control the Quasi Y-Source Inverter (qYSI) called Model Predictive Control (MPC). In this strategy, multi-variables are controlled to their set points in the one cost function which are the inductor flow current, capacitor voltage, and output load flow currents. Utilizing this system, a fast response, quick reference capability, Stable output can be accomplished. Moreover, the proposed controller controls immediately the inverter switches without the need of the modulator. The proposed technique algorithm calculations are approved by theoretical implementation. Furthermore, the proposed algorithm for qYSI is approved utilizing MATLAB/SIMULINK.
