Abstract
Cloud computing paradigm is the most popular paradigm because of the dynamic development of computing services through Internet. The main idea of cloud is to provide on-demand computing services with high reliability, scalability and availability in a distributed environment. Outsourcing and extension of business through cloud has provided customer an ease of the local data storage and maintenance. However, the services provided by third-party cloud services involve additional security threats. Security is one of the major factor that hampers the growth of cloud computing. There are a few mathematical models for ensuring more security in cloud computing. In this paper we propose a mathematical model by adopting the concept of Markov chain to measure threat arise in cloud computing. Also, we study and propose some of the mathematical models approach for cloud computing security.
