Abstract
In this paper, a computer application is proposed for evaluating communication security performance under jamming conditions in order to choose appropriate setups for the desired waveform. In addition, the effect of a follower jammer on frequency hopping link is modeled and simulated. The computer application determines safe and dangerous routes between two radios: transmitter and receiver in presence of a follower jammer. The application calculates link budget equations and colors the route depends on predefined specifications which are specified by the user. Initially user chooses waveform type and locates three main nodes' coordinates: transmitter, receiver, and jammer on an interactive map with their specifications such as operating mode, transmitted power, and hopping range. Also, locates sub points between transmitter and receiver which represent radio movements. These points form the route between transmitter and receiver radios.
