Abstract
In this paper, novel multilayer graphene only transmitarray (MGOT) antenna is presented. The structure consists of 21x21 elements distributed on an area of 525x525 mu m(2). Four layers unit-cell element is used. Each layer has five arms on each side of a square ring of graphene. Three layers of silica aerogel are separated the layers. A circular horn is used as the feed with focal length to diameter ratio equals unity. The feed horn was positioned such that the transmitarray was prime-focus fed. The transmission coefficient variations are achieved by varying the length of each arm. The antenna gain of the proposed array is obtained by using CST. The maximum antenna gain is found to be 26.4 dBi.
