Abstract
In this paper the problems arising in the occurrence of multipath in array signal processing are addressed. Different operational environment of data acquisition system leads to different coexistence of the multipath signal. Averaging effect of digital beamforming techniques and snapshots, some time does not necessarily removes the problem. A convincing way of removing multipath from an ay signals is described using envelope detection and discrimination techniques. Beamfroming of array signal produce results free of multipath, demonstrating the effectiveness of removal techniques.
