This work is concerned with a new biarc interpolation method in which a segment span is composed of two circular arcs and the location of the maximum interpolation error is fixed. The newly developed biarc meets the given tolerance more precisely, performs faster calculation, and generates less NC code blocks(about 60%) in comparison with existing biarcs.
