Abstract
Numerical models play vital role in analyzing non-linear continuous dynamical systems. These models are constructed with the aim that they must behave exactly like corresponding continuous models. Present work deals with the numerical modeling of Virus Outbreak in a Computer Network with Limited Anti-Virus Ability. A competitive numerical scheme for the dynamics of a computer virus in a network has been proposed. A comparison of proposed scheme with already existing standard finite difference schemes is also presented. Standard finite difference schemes provide conditional convergence while the proposed numerical scheme is un-conditionally convergent and remains consistent with the continuous model for all parameter values.
