Abstract
A simple decoupling approach is utilised, in which a dielectric wall is incorporated to suppress the mutual coupling between two multi-band rectangular dielectric resonator antenna (RDRA). As per the simulated results, the inserted dielectric wall provided an improvement in the isolation by circa5-22 dB in the frequency band of interest. This is achieved in conjunction high radiation efficiency and enhanced gain, which make the proposed antenna suitable for the millimeterwave frequency band (5G also includes the 6GHz band).
