Abstract
In this work a meta-heuristic approach based on Antlion algorithms in hybridation with graph theory was presented to locate the optimal distribution network DN configuration, this is done by adjusting the state of the switches (switch closed or open). The main purpose of network reconfiguration is to find network topology with minimal losses under constraints. The optimal configuration of the DN is a non-linear and discrete optimization problem. The given method was tested on IEEE networks (33, 69 and 84 bus) then validated on the Algerian DN (116 bus) under MATLAB environment.
