This paper presents the adoption of outcomes-based teaching in Qassim University through ICT, the natural learning cycle, and mind maps. Two courses are considered in this study with the focus on the teaching methodologies and the associated tools. The learning outcomes have been assessed before and during the coronavirus pandemic. Results show that the traditional way of examination can be substituted with an online assessment using project-based learning and short quizzes.
