Abstract

Engineering Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Science & Technology Technology Telecommunications
in this paper we investigate the parallelization efficiency of a recently developed finite difference time domain (FDTD) code, called GEMSS on a high performance cluster using different material memory allocation approaches. Numerical experiments have demonstrated that this efficiency strongly depends on the physical mode, the processor type and the networking system.
