Abstract

Engineering Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Science & Technology Technology
The spectral field data on an observation plane inside a mode-stirred chamber describe the directional dependence of all supported modes in the reverberation chamber. Correlation coefficients are computed to evaluate the efficiency of the mode-stirrer for three different sizes of stirrers. The spectral characteristics of the stirring effects in a reverberation chamber are compared with the conventional statistical results about the uniformity of the spatial electric fields.
