Abstract
In this research the periodic behaviour of the solution of the difference equation
x(n+1) = max{x(n)(2), A}/x(n)x(n-1); x(0), x(1), A is an element of (0, infinity) (1)
will be investigated. It will be shown that for A different from unity, the solution is not periodic for all values of x(0), x(1). In fact, it has a chaotic behaviour with strange attractors.
