Abstract
The conventional recovery of the mean stress field in dynamic tests is not valid in case of non equilibrated-dynamic tests. Inverse techniques are well adapted to resolve this problem. Conversely, they need the resolution of a complex numerical problem. In this paper, an alternative pseudo-inverse method is proposed as solution to the problem of non-homogeneity in dynamic tests. It is based on DIC techniques. The stress-strain relationship is determined and approximated by Neo-Hooke hyper elastic constitutive equation. In order to validate the method, compressive tests were performed on synthetic rubber using servo-hydraulic MTS machine.
