Abstract
The time differential perturbed angular distribution (TDPAD) technique has been used to measure the quadrupole moments of the 7(-) and 23/2(+) states in Ba-128,Ba-129 w.r.t. 9/2(-) state in Ba-129 following the Sn-120(C-12, xn)Ba-128,Ba-129 on Tb metal foils. The observed values are at variance with the intraband analysis.
