Abstract
This paper deals with some reflective subcategories of the category of topological spaces TOP. The class of continuous functions in TOP orthogonal to all Tychonoff spaces is characterized. We also give a characterization of spaces X such that the Tychonoff reflection p(X) is a spectral space.
