Conference Title: 2013 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation & USNC/URSI National Radio Science Meeting Conference Start Date: 2013, July 7 Conference End Date: 2013, July 13 Conference Location: Orlando, FL, USA In this paper, the principle of analytic continuation is applied to reconstruct the time domain response of the so called Composite Right-Left Handed (CRLH) transmission line. The reconstruction is achieved from a wideband frequency domain measurement. The principle of analytic continuation enforces the causality of the reconstructed response. Hence, the problem of temporal leakage due to ringing can be totally eliminated, and the measurement error can be reduced. The reconstructed time domain response can be used to examine the true characteristics of the CRLH transmission lines. [PUBLICATION ABSTRACT]
