Abstract
In this paper, two new shaped dual band Wilkinson power dividers are presented. These configurations achieve significant size reduction and very good performance as compared to the conventional dual band Wilkinson power divider. Simulation and experimental results of two reduced size dividers at the receiving bands of the Global system for mobile communication GSM demonstrate the realizablity and performance of the proposed configurations. The implementation of the proposed structures on GaAs (Gallium Arsenide) for X-band and Ku-band satellite down-link bands yields miniature configurations appropriate for MIC/MMIC applications.
