Abstract
Modeling temporal behavior of Real Time Embedded systems is a hard engineering task which requires a rigorous methodology to avoid design errors and overcome the challenge of the growing complexity. The use of high-level development approaches such as Model Driven Engineering (MDE) and the profile Modeling and Analysis of Real Time Embedded systems (MARTE) is an improved and beneficial solution for this challenge. But, a modeling view of a RTES may be complex and hard to read and understand. It is in this context that we propose an extension for the MARTE profile, and especially the sub-profile Schedulability Analysis Modeling (SAM), to reduce the size of scheduling analysis model.
