Abstract
This paper investigates the problem of robust sliding mode control for a class of uncertain singular systems with time-delay in discrete-time. The uncertainties include both mismatched parametric uncertainties in the state model and the matched external disturbance. Based on a new sliding function a sufficient condition is derived to guarantee that the sliding mode dynamics to be robustly admissible. Moreover, a quasi-sliding mode controller is established to satisfy the reaching condition of the specified discrete-time sliding surface for all admissible uncertainties and time-varying delay. A simulation study shows the effectiveness of the control scheme.
