This paper presents an optimised regional split-window algorithm, for determining of sea surface temperature in Canary Islands from NOAA satellite data. We have used a statistical method from simulated measurements with a radiative transfer code and a set of radiosoundings. The final equation contains a term for marine aerosols correction.
