Abstract
The design and construction aspects in the strengthening, heightening and leakage control measures of an ancient masonry dam along with project details are discussed in the paper. Results of finite element analysis for different load combinations are presented The load combinations considered in the analysis include static as well as seismic loads. Pseudo-static as well as pseudo-dynamic analysis has been employed for the purpose of seismic analysis.
