Abstract
Conference Title: 2018 International Conference on Advanced Systems and Electric Technologies (IC_ASET) Conference Start Date: 2018, March 22 Conference End Date: 2018, March 25 Conference Location: Hammamet, Tunisia We designed a novel fiber structure to support few modes (LP modes) that feature a circular ring shaped core. This fiber design supports four LP modes (LP01, LP02, LP31 and LP11) and the behavior all these modes is studied by varying temperature from 20oC to 80oC. The dispersion and confinement loss have also been analyzed at different temperatures. The results show that the designed fiber can support four modes over the entire range of C band. The proposed novel fiber targets application in multi channels spatial division multiplexing (SDM) where we consider multi input and multi output processing system for network connection system.
