Abstract
Conference Title: 2018 15th International Bhurban Conference on Applied Sciences and Technology (IBCAST) Conference Start Date: 2018, Jan. 9 Conference End Date: 2018, Jan. 13 Conference Location: Islamabad, Pakistan This paper presents the design of low insertion loss diplexer using Suspended Stripline (SSL) technology. The low pass and high pass channels cover bandwidth of 10MHz-2.2GHz and 2.2GHz-6GHz respectively. The design and simulation of diplexer are carried out using ADS (Advanced Design System). Final simulation and optimization is performed in 3D EM simulator Sonnet. The designed diplexer is fabricated and tested. Insertion loss of less than 1 dB is achieved for both channels. Simulated and measurement results are presented with good agreement and diplexer performs well up to 6 GHz.
