Abstract
Application of Text classification has become an essential part of our daily life. Many algorithms based on Machine Learning (ML) has been tested in the past several decades with different levels of success. This field has since shown maturity and new class of tools has been commonplace. This is a revisit of this field using both commodity software and hardware to show the efficiency and effectiveness of a group of four ML-based methods in classifying Cricket sports news articles.
