PEDAS is an. acronym of a knowledge-based power electronics design aid system developed in the EEE department at UPM. The concept and development of this system was discussed in several previous works as shown in references. In this paper the validity theme of PEDAS is addressed and then the validation and verification process through some simulation examples is conducted. The hardware validation example is left to next stage upon completing and finalising its results.
