Abstract
Voltage control is a challenge in electric distribution systems to maintain the level of voltage at the load terminals. On-Load Tap-Changer (OLTC) is the most common equipment used to regulate the voltage in electric distribution system. Nowadays, Electronic On-Load Tap-Changer (EOLTC) has been introduced in the literatures to overcome the OLTC drawbacks, and limitations. This paper presents simulation of EOLTC using MATLAB/Simulink environment. The EOLTC is simulated in Matlab/Simulink environment. The EOLTC model is tested to adjust the load voltage within the permissible limits in case of the grid voltage suddenly changing or the load is changed. The results show effective, accurate, fast acting of the EOLTC model
