Abstract

Two precipitates were obtained from original black liquor by using hydrochloric acid and carbon dioxide. The precipitates were liquefied and gasified by noncatalytic and catalytic methods at gradually increasing temperatures. The highest hydrogen content in the gaseous product was obtained in the presence of potassium carbonate catalyst.
