Abstract
In the title molecule, C17H17NO3, the configuration of the keto group with respect to the olefinic double bond is s‐cis. The dihedral angle between the two aromatic rings is 9.5 (2)°. Both the H atoms of the amino group are involved in N—H⋯O hydrogen bonding to form molecular layers parallel to the (100) plane. The layers are stacked along the b axis and are interlinked by C—H⋯π and C—H⋯O interactions.
