In the title compound, C8H12N+center dot NO3-, the cation lies on a mirror plane and the N and one C atom lie on a twofold axis. In the crystal, the anions and cations are linked by N-H center dot center dot center dot O interactions along the b axis and a short N-O center dot center dot center dot pi contact [3.2899 (5) angstrom] also occurs.
