Abstract
In the title compound, C14H16N2O2, the 2-functionalized side-arm adopts a cisoid conformation. The molecule is stabilized by an intramolecular O - H center dot center dot center dot N hydrogen bond. In the crystal structure, adjacent molecules are connected via O - H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds to form chains running parallel to the a axis. These chains are further linked by C - H center dot center dot center dot N hydrogen bonds to form double-stranded layers stacking back-to-back along the c-axis direction.
