In the title compound, C30H23ClN2O3, the pyrrolidine ring adopts a twisted conformation and the five-membered ring of the indanedione group adopts an envelope conformation. Molecules are linked into dimers by N-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds, and edge-to-face C-H center dot center dot center dot pi interactions exist between dimers.
