Abstract
The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C14H13NO5S, contains two independent molecules in which the dihedral angles between the aromatic rings are 83.45 (11) and 86.65 (9)degrees. In the crystal, the independent molecules are connected by N-H center dot center dot center dot O and O-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds, forming a double- chain structure along [401]. A weak pi-pi stacking interaction with a centroid-centroid distance of 3.7509 (13) angstrom and C-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds are also observed.
