In the title compound, C

S, the dihedral angle between the aromatic rings is 35.47 (10)°. In the crystal, adjacent molecules are connected by pairs of O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming head-to-head centrosymmetric dimers typical for carboxylic acids. Adjacent dimers are further linked through C—H⋯O interactions on one side and N—H⋯O interactions on the other, generating [010] chains.
