Abstract
In the title compound, C13H10ClNO4S, the dihedral angle between the aromatic ring planes is 87.07 (6)degrees and an intramolecular C-H center dot center dot center dot O interaction occurs. In the crystal, inversion dimers linked by two O-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds arise from the carboxyl groups. N-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds link the dimers into chains and short C-Cl center dot center dot center dot pi and S-O center dot center dot center dot pi contacts are also seen.
