Abstract
In the study, we have fabricated Ag@Li dual shell hallow nanosphere (Ag@Li DSHN) by chemical reduction method for the dual non-enzymatic detection of glucose and phosphorus. TEM image of Ag@Li DSHN confirms the dual shell hallow nanosphere with Li core and Ag shell. The XRD spectrum of Ag@Li DSHN shows the particle was crystalline in nature. The dual detection of glucose and phosphorus by Ag@Li DSHN showed high sensitivity, and selectivity as a potential sensing probe. Zeta potential and average particle size of Ag@Li DSNH was found to be - 32.9 mV +/- 2.1 mV and 12 +/- 1.3 nm respectively. The limit of detection of glucose and phosphorus by Ag@Li DSHN was 2.8 and 2.9 nM respectively. Furthermore, the environmental parameter (pH, temperature and saline concentration) on the detection of glucose and phosphorus by Ag@Li DSHN was studied. Additionally, the real sample detection by Ag@Li DSHN towards the detection of glucose and phosphorus was studied and the recovery % was from 97 to 99%. Hence, Ag@Li DSHN can be used for the effective detection of glucose and phosphorus form environmental sample.
