Abstract
In this paper, we present a novel hybrid model called multi Q-dual hesitant fuzzy soft (M(k)QDHFS) rough set model, by the combination of rough sets and M(k)QDHFS sets. We investigate some fundamental properties of M(k)QDHFS rough set model. Further, we develop M(k)QDHFS rough approximation operators with the help of M(k)QDHFS relations. We discuss some useful properties of lower and upper M(k)QDHFS rough approximation operators. Furthermore, we present a novel framework for handling vagueness in decision-making problems based on M(k)QDHFS rough sets. Finally, we give an application to analyze the failure detection in unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) to show the validity of the proposed decision-making method.
