Abstract

A facile one pot synthesis of some new 2-(1-piperidinyl/1-pyrrolidinyl)-4-substituted phenyl-6-(3',5'-dibromo-4'-hydroxy phenyl)-pyrimidine derivatives (Va-g) and their antibacterial and herbicidal activity have been reported. Structural elucidation of all the synthesized compounds has been done on the basis of elemental analysis and spectral data.
