Abstract
It is a well known fact that very few investigations have been made to reveal the physical processes in the Indian Ocean, especially in the northern coastal areas. With the development of computer techniques, it is now possible to compute some required data about the physical processes with the help of numerical models. A mathematical model of the northern Arabian Sea is developed and study is being carried out on tides, tidal currents and wind-driven circulation.
