Abstract
The present work proposes a new version of double containment joints having a circular cross-section support. This proposed version of double containment joints (with circular support, preferably from a standard section) not only provide higher strength and weight saving (up to 45%) when compared with the regular double containment, but also provides saving throughout its manufacturing steps.
