Abstract

In the presence of a catalytic amount of a lanthanide triflate, N-(α-aminnoalkyl)benzotriazoles reacted with silyl enolates to give the corresponding β-amino ketone or ester derivatives in high yields with high diastereoselectivities. Graphic
