Abstract
In the present study, the use of a carbon paste electrode modified by 8,9-dihydroxy-7-methyl-12H-benzothiazolo[2,3-b]quinazolin-12-one (DMBQ) and ZnO/CNTs nanocomposite (DMBQ/ZnO/CNTs/CPE) prepared by a simple and rapid method was described. The modified electrode showed an excellent character for electrocatalytic oxidization of glutathione (GSH) and amoxicillin (AMX). Their square wave voltammetric peak current increased linearly with their concentration at the ranges of 0.002–720 and 1.0–950μM, respectively with the detection limits of 0.0008 and 0.5μM, respectively. The modified electrode was successfully used for the determination of the analytes in real samples with satisfactory results.
Application of a novel biosensor based on ZnO/CNT nanocomposite and novel catechol derivative as high sensitive and selective voltammetric sensor for simultaneous determination of glutathione and amoxicillin for the first time. [Display omitted]
