Abstract
The metabolites of the mangrove fungus Eutypa sp. (#425) from the South China Sea have been studied. A new compound eutypoid A (1), which is a derivative of alpha , beta -unsaturated gamma -lactone, has been isolated from the mycelium. Its structure has been elucidated by spectroscopic methods, mainly 2D NMR techniques. This kind of compounds possess diverse pharmacologically activities, such as inhibitors of cyclin-dependent kinases. The oily liquid from the mycelium is analyzed with GC / MS, the contents of unsaturated fatty acid esters are 57% of total oily liquid.
