Abstract
RANTES (regulated on activation, normal T cell expressed and secreted) is a member of the pro-inflammatory cytokine family known as 'chemokines'. It was originally identified in T cells using subtractive hybridization and its promoter sequence and transcriptional regulation have been characterized.
