An attempt has been made to give some criteria (Criteria II) for a function defined in the space of analytic functions to be univalent. Such criteria extend those obtained earlier from Ahlfors-type univalence criteria of analytic functions. We also discuss its application in the space of analytic functions. (C) 2011 Elsevier Ltd.
