Abstract

Nepeta Nepeta curviflora Nepetalic acid methyl acetal
[Display omitted] A new iridiod, identified as the methyl acetal of nepetalic acid (1), along with other known 11 compounds have been isolated from the aqueous methanol and butanol extracts of Nepeta curviflora growing wild in Jordan. Structural interpretation of all isolated compounds was performed based on spectral data such as HR-ESIMS, UV, IR and NMR spectroscopy.
