Abstract

Physical Sciences Physics Physics, Multidisciplinary Science & Technology
A semi-empirical formula is proposed for (n, p) reaction cross-sections at 14.5 MeV neutron energy based on the statistical model, considering the Q-value dependence due to asymmetry parameter and utilizing pre-equilibrium exciton model. Predictions of this formula agree well with those of the existing formulae and with experimental data and have good agreement with it.
