Abstract
A new AAS method for the determination of bromhexine(Bx), flunarizine (Fn) and ranitidine (Rn) hydrochlorides in pure solutions and pharmaceutical preparations has been proposed. Ion associates of the above drugs with [Cd(SCN)(4)](2-) and / or [Co(NO2)(6)](3-) were precipitated and the excess of complex anion was determined. Applying the proposed method, Bx, Fn and Rn could be determined in the concentration ranges: 1.5-15.08, 1.62-16.25 and 1.26-12.61 mu g mL(-1), respectively.
